Sarah's Headshots
I recently photographed Sarah, she needed some new headshots. Despite the intense heat (95 degrees!) photographing Sarah was a breeze. Luckily, her being located on the West Side, we were able to easily use Central Park as a backdrop for her gorgeous session and got some amazing shots!
My Day with Jasmine
The other day I took some photographs of my neighbor's dog Jasmine. She is a King Charles Cavalier and Cocker Spaniel mix. We had a lot of fun and took a bunch of photos. A few days later the temperature reached 90 degrees and Jasmine's owner, Kate, asked if I would dog sit because she knew I would be home and she was concerned with the heat. I had a fun day with Jasmine and took some more photos.
First things first, Kate brought over her food, water, leash, and some toys.
Then Jasmine made her self comfortable on the couch.
and she stayed on the couch.
After a while I tried to get her to play, so I tried to get her off the couch.
but, I think she really liked the couch.
Overall I had a great time with her. She kept me company as I did some editing and took photos of her. She's a great subject.
Coming soon: Pet Portraits of Jasmine.
Reem Acra's Runway Show at New York Fashion Week
I am still going through all of my photos from fashion week, but as I was editing I realized Reem Acra's show was one of my favorites. There was so much attention to detail and amazing bead work. I wanted to share some of her beautiful pieces.
Zang Toi Showroom
The day after fashion week ended I was invited by my very good friend Nora Kobrenik to visit the Zang Toi showroom. Nora couldn't make the show during fashion week, but still wanted to see the newest collection. Of course I was super excited when she invited me!
The showroom was absolutely beautiful. All the decor was either black, white or mirrored, except for the clothing of course. It was super stylish! Zang Toi himself wasn't there, but we were shown around by Steven Ong. Steven was really nice and explained the whole collection to Nora. It was really cool to see the clothing from close up. I've only ever seen them on the runway. They looked so elegant, I was afraid to touch them, but they didn't mind if we did. He also had his sketches hanging on the wall, that was really interesting to see how each piece comes together.

First Holy Communion
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph some awesome (and adorable) kids at their first holy communion. It was at St. John Nepomucene in Manhattan. It is only a few blocks away from where I live so it was also very convenient. It was a beautiful day outside & the kids did wonderfully! They really looked like they were having fun! They were all dressed up in their dresses and suits! It was a really fun day! Congratulations to all of them!
Jerry!
Did some amazing portraits with Jerry. There were so many that I loved It was hard to narrow it down.

Claire
Had a wonderful shoot with Claire. We walked around the high-line; it was a hot, but beautiful day! Claire is the president of Beatrix NY, which is a children's accessory company & is a breast cancer survivor! Take a look at her website: http://www.beatrixny.com. We had such a great shoot!
Headshots
Here are some photos I took of Yoon Kim. I was lucky enough to be able to photograph him in his amazing penthouse in SoHo. I even got to meet his adorable dog, Mochi, a beautiful Shiba Inu! The day I photographed him was the day of the St. Patrick's day parade; It was a lot of fun seeing the all the people in green on the way to the shoot. It even started snowing! Luckily the shoot was inside and we didn't have to worry about the weather.
Studio Photography Class Part 2
A few days ago I taught my first solo class. (You can sign up on skillshare!) It was a lot of fun and there were a number of students who came. I hope they enjoyed the class as much as I did teaching it. I went over topics like: Having your photo studio at home, Studio lighting in small spaces, and even had some extra time to discuss a bit about the business of photography.
Oh, did I forget to mention we had the beautiful model, Alicia Henry, helping us out with the lighting demos. Here are a few shots of Alicia from class. Can you guess the lighting?
Studio Photography Class!
I always get asked about teaching a class, so I finally decided to do it. Here's the link: http://skl.sh/Sbio7s Its called Studio Photography From your Home. I will cover things like studio lighting in small spaces, lighting setups, as well as some information about the business end of photography. It's going to be a lot of fun!
I really hope to see you there!
